Taylor & Steve | St. Louis

This weekend I shot portraits of Taylor and Steve in St. Louis. Both of them went to college there and we figured it would be a great place to shoot. We shot at St. Louis University, Forest Park, and finished up after lunch at McGurks Irish Pub. The highlight of the shoot was at the BoatHouse in Forest Park. Erin & Jeremy's Wedding

Andrew and I shot Erin & Jeremy's wedding on Friday and it was fantastic. The wedding was at the Magnolia Hotel and thought I would share a few images from the day. This was my 2nd Joekel family wedding and we have such blast working with them. Be sure to check out the slideshow.

New Pictage Interface

Pictage has finally released the all new interface for my clients. This has been a year-long process and I think you will all love it. Please note some events may not be switched over yet, but will be in the coming weeks. I've been playing around with it and feel the design and features are much better. I have also found that using Firefox as your browser works the best. Click on the image to see the full screen capture.

Chicago Crew

Just returned from a little trip to Chicago with the Malone & Comapny crew. Our journey included a trip to the Chicago Art Institute where we saw some work from 2 photographers Jeff Wall and Richard Misrach. I also had the chance to shoot some portraits of fellow shooter Andrew and his fiancé Adrianne. I'll try to post some of these later. Meanwhile check out some of the crew's imagery from the trip.

Western Nebraska Sky

I was recently on a shoot for Malone & Company in Western NE to capture the beauty of the great landscapes that exist here. I will try to post some of the panos later.

Gare de Lyon

Throughout our journey we have traveled through many train stations. Gare de Lyon in Paris is incredible and of course I had to shoot it. This image is actually a combination of 2 images stitched together. It gives you a sense of how large the station is.

The French Riviera in color

All good things must come to an end. We have spent the last week in Nice exploring the French Riviera. The colors here are truly amazing, so I thought I would share some of my favorites from our journey. Tomorrow we leave for Paris before heading home on Tuesday.

Bastille Day

Saturday was Bastille Day in France, which marks the storming of the Bastille, or prison, by the revolutionaries. It is France's national holiday and we celebrated with about 3 million people near the Eiffel Tower. As you'll see in the gallery, the Metro wasn't the easiest form of transportation that night!

Paris

We left Paris yesterday for Nice and we'll be here until Sunday. Here are a few images from from Paris.

My wife Anne and I are heading to France for some much needed R&R. I'll be posting images from our journey over the next 2 weeks. Getty Museum

I along with the crew at Malone & Company were in LA last week for a workshop on the new Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to the Getty Museum. The foggy and rainy night made for some great shooting! You can see more of our images here.
